About the Artwork
“Agatha” is an original figurative painting by outsider artist rek, created in 2026. Executed in acrylic on acrylic paper, this intimate portrait balances expressive color with emotional tension, offering a sense of presence rather than a literal likeness.
The cropped composition and restrained palette give the piece a contemplative, almost cinematic quality. Subtle shifts in color and line suggest mood and character without over-defining them, allowing the viewer space to interpret the figure’s inner life.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, signed by the artist and unframed. Its modest size makes it ideal for framing and display in personal or reflective spaces.
This piece comes directly from the artist’s studio and will be carefully packaged for safe shipment.
