Airbrush Art
Airbrushing has been part of my artistic practice since 1981. Over the years, I’ve used it to create everything from large-scale murals and commercial installations to portraits, illustrations, and original fine art.
While I no longer take on the volume of custom airbrush projects I once did, the technique remains part of my creative vocabulary. I occasionally incorporate airbrushing into paintings and portrait work, often combining it with more traditional media.
This collection features a few selected projects from my years working with the airbrush, along with examples of how the technique has influenced my artwork.
Selected Works
Working with an airbrush taught me a great deal about light, shadow, color, and the subtle transitions between them. Those lessons have stayed with me even when I’m working with brushes, pencils, or other media. In many ways, airbrushing has influenced how I approach painting far beyond the technique itself.
